We are so grateful to One Roof Foundation for selecting our Board President and former alumna, Xiu Wen Li, as one of their January 2026 Hero of the Deep award recipients!
One Roof Foundation created the Hero of the Deep Program to honor inspiring individuals who are doing outstanding work to transform lives, enable resiliency, and uplift and unite our community.
Currently, Xiu is a Senior Talent Manager at Microsoft, where she manages and drives decision making in strategic talent portfolio projects. An alumna of DLEC, she is both a supporter of the organization’s mission and an example of the program’s success. She was honored at the Seattle Kraken game on January 29, 2026. In addition to the award, One Roof Foundation gave a $32,000 Kraken Unity Fund Grant to DLEC.
