Our humble and grassroots beginnings have made listening to and understanding our community integral to our mission and approach. Adhering to this strategy for four decades has helped us to meet the changing needs of Seattle’s most vulnerable families, as demographics have shifted and demand for our services has grown. We take great pride that our leadership and staff represent the community we serve. Our commitment extends beyond the 70% multilingual staff level, 80% of our Program Directors and 70% of our board members are people of color.
