At Denise Louie Education Center (DLEC), we understand that good health is foundational to early learning success. Our team is committed to helping families access and navigate health services. When families are supported and healthy, their children are better prepared to learn.

DLEC helps families apply for and renew their Apple Health insurance so they can continue to access the medical care and services they need. Apple Health is Washington’s free or low-cost health insurance program which covers services for children, adults, pregnant people, and family planning care.

Apple Health coverage must be renewed regularly, and families may lose coverage if they miss important steps.

If you have Apple Health, here are some important things you can do to keep your coverage:

● Check your account to make sure your contact information is up to date (at https://www.wahealthplanfinder.org/).

● Watch for letters or emails about your renewal

● Respond right away if you are asked to take action

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your DLEC Family Service Specialist (FSS), Home Visitor (HV), or get help from an A&O Navigator at the King County CHAP Line (800-756-5437).
