What is expected of parents and caregivers?

Please sign in when you arrive at the program so we can make sure to count your participation. While attending Play and Learn it is your responsibility to be with your child and spend time playing and interacting with them. It is important for you to get down on the floor with your child, be at eye level with them and experience activities with them.

Play and Learn is also an opportunity for you to interact with other parents and caregivers. Adults are encouraged to socialize, network and share information with one another.

Consider our staff and facilitators a resource for you. If you would like information about other community activities, topics of interest or concern, please feel free to talk with them.

If you need to change a diaper, please use the diaper changing tables in the adult or family restrooms.

Play and Learn is a program of Denise Louie Education Center and funded by United Way. In order to sustain this program as free to the community, we need to collect data on the impact this program has on families. We distribute and collect survey for evaluations once a year. We may use the demographic data for reports and grant writing. While participation is voluntary and anonymous, we appreciate your support.
