Yesler Terrace Expansion project Seattle’s growing need for quality childcare facilities has left many families on a 1-2-year waitlist, evidencing an increased need for early learning services, the number is even higher for low income families of color. We will be partnering with Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) and Capitol Hill Housing who will provide 158 housing units.

YESLER TERRACE EARLY LEARNING CENTER PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • TARGETED BENEFICIARIES: Children from birth to age 5 and their parents/caregivers
  • IMPACT: At least 97 children (37 being infant and toddler and 60 preschoolers)
  • DETAILS: 6 classrooms, office spaces, laundry room, kitchen and playground 
  • PROJECT TIMELINE: June 2021 – Spring 2022
