$100,000 To Provide Childcare For Our Essential Workers & First Responders

During these challenging times, many of our parents and caregivers are considered essential members of the workforce: Some are Uwajimaya and Safeway employees. Others are first responders working at Evergreen Hospital and Seattle Children’s. We listened to our families and learned that they need childcare services so that they can continue their work and provide King County residents the services they need during this crisis.

This is why our agency is launching a $100,000 campaign to ensure that we can do our part in supporting our families and the services they provide to all of us. Please join us in contributing to this effort. Your support will ensure that we can continue to provide this vital service despite any potential budget cuts and any other unforeseen circumstances.

The below break down shows how invaluable your support is during this time.

  • $500 pays for a week of toddler care
  • $250 pays for a month of cleaning and protective supplies for a classroom
  • $100 pays for two weeks of meals for a child

Please donate today and join us in doing our part during this very trying time for our community.
